Charge It!!! (Practical Scrappers Die Cut Challenge & Crafty Creations Challenge)

I made this birthday card for my cousin.. She's a young pre-teen so I thought a shopping card would be fitting.. I used my Cricut to cut the credit card so I can use it for the Practical Scrappers die cut challenge.. I also entered it in the celebration challenge over at Crafty Creations Challenge... This was one of my design team projects for Practical Scrappers.. We had to make projects using Glitz Design Products which by the way is fabulous stuff.. I also entered the challenge over at Pixie Dust Studio Pixie Challenge.. The challenge was to make a 3-D project.. So I designed this cute, little heart-shaped bag in SCAL... Snow Happy, Snow Sad ( Practical Scrappers Friday Sketch & Magpie Club Challenge)

Hello, all my crafty and scrappy friends.. It's been a little while since I've posted anything, but I have been very busy.. This layout was inspired be the Friday sketch over a Practical Scrappers and the challenge going on over at Magpie Club.. The Magpie Club Challenge was to make a happy sad layout... The snowflakes were cut from Joys of the Season and Speaking of Winter carts.. The title was cut from Sesame Street Font cart and crimped with a paper crimper.. Busy Bee On Halloween ( SOUS and CraftyCreations Challenge))

Well, the layout was inspired by another fabulous sketch over at Stuck On U Sketches.. I also entered the challenge #53 to use wings at Crafty Creations Challenge..This page is of my son this last Halloween.. He made the cutest little bumble bee...
I used SCAL to cut out the honey comb background (inspired from a layout in Scrapbook ECT. Magazine), the title, and the super cute bee bear (from http://myscrapchick.com/)...

I Won My First Challenge!!!!!

I am on cloud 9 right now!!! I just won my first challenge!!! The challenge was at Sassy Studio Designs (Dare to be Sassy Thursdays Challenge) and the prize was 2 digi stamps of my chose.... Muddy You ( SOUS and Frosted Designs)

This is a layout of my son 2 summers ago.. I've been meaning to scrap these pics but haven't had any luck with being inspired... Until today when I saw the sketch over at Stuck On U Sketches.. I was instantly inspired and this is what I came up with... I also entered this layout in the Frosted Design challenge.. The challenge is to use a piece of chipboard in a layout or card.. The Muddy in my title is cut out of chipboard... I designed this page in Design Studio.. The splats are from the Everyday Paper Dolls card.. The title was done with 4 different carts Graphically Speaking, Pooh Font, Opposites Attract, and Plantin Schoolbook.. Well, let me know what you think.. :0)

Froggie Kisses (pop-up card)

Thinking of You (Cricut Cardz Challenge and Crafty Creations Challenges)

Hello everyone, here is a quick card I put together today... I entered this card in the Cricut Cardz Challenge.. The challenge is to make a s-fold card with a thinking of you theme, and at least one cut from any Cricut cart..I also entered a challenge over at Crafty Creations Challenges.. Their challenge is to make a project using a Valentine or love theme... The digi stamp I used is from http://www.karensdoodles.blogspot.com/ She has some awesome digi stamps... The "thinking of you" and the flower are all cut from the Walk in My Garden cart.. Let me know what you think... :0)

First time making paper flowers..

Well, this is my first attempt to make paper flowers.. I saw a tutorial on Youtube and I had to give it a try... My circles are cut at 1',2', 2 1/2', and 3'... First, I heat embossed a stamped design on a the circles (except the 1').. I didn't have any glimmer mist so I just inked the edges of the circles (except the 1').... Then, I crumpled up the circles(except the 1'), unfolded them, folded them in half, then in half again, i pinched the very end , and unfold the circle keeping the back end pinched.. Finally, I glued one circle on top of another starting with the 1' circle, I stickled the edges, and glued a jewel in the center.. I hope that I didn't confuse you all... It's a stretch ( Cards for St. Jude #4 and Practical Scrappers Challenge)

Okay Ladies, here is my last little animal Valentine for St.Jude... All my cute little animals are getting mailed out today to put some smiles on some children's faces.. I also entered this card in the embossing challenge over at http://www.practicalscrappers.com/ .... For my cute little giraffe and the circle tag is from the New Arrivals cart.. The tree is a cut from the Zooballoo cart... I also used the Polka Dot embossing folder from QuickKutz for my giraffes spots... Let me know what you think... :0)

Here is another awesome digital stamp from Sassy Design Studio.. I used the stamp to make a birthday card for my aunt.. They are also having a challenge over at Sassy Designs Studio the challenge is to incorporate a piece of chipboard on a card.. So my blinged out cherry's are chip board that I cut using the From My Kitchen cart.. I also entered this card in the Going Girly challenge over a Cupcake Craft Challenge, and it is my take on the bonus sketch over at 2S4U..
